Over the last few months, Podium has worked with two different national television channels, ERT and ANT1, to cover all major international events taking place all over the world. This started with the most important event, the war in the Ukraine; from the very start, Podium has worked in the studios of the Greek national television channels, interpreting the statements, speeches and interviews of all major stakeholders in this conflict.
At the same time, on 17/5/2022, Podium provided interpreting services from English to Greek on behalf of both the public broadcaster and the ANT1 television channel, for the – as it was characterized – historic address made by the Prime Minister, Mr Kyriakos Mitsotakis, to the United States Congress.
On 12/9/2022, we found ourselves in the ANT1 TV studio once again, to translate the private channel’s interview with the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Mr Tony Blair.
Over the last few months, Podium has worked with two different national television channels, ERT and ANT1, to cover all major international events taking place all over the world.
A week later, on 19/9/2022, Podium’s interpreters went back to both of the channels in question, to cover the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.
On September 23rd, and again on behalf of both channels, Podium provided interpreting services for the Greek Prime Minister’s visit to the USA and the meeting between Mr Mitsotakis and the US President, Mr Joe Biden. Moreover, our company provided interpreting services for the various speeches and interviews taking place in the framework of the official visit.
Finally, on 1/11/2022, Podium visited the ANT1 TV studios, to provide interpreting services for the “Enopios Enopio” show, in which journalist Mr Nikos Hadjinikolaou interviewed the US Ambassador to Greece, Mr Tsounis.

Meanwhile, consistent in keeping up with headline news and all the latest developments, Podium provided interpreting services for ERT during all of the EU Summit Meetings and all of the Prime Minister’s trips to various countries.
